Nearest ports are Mandwa (20 km from Akshi) and Rewas (29 km). Hourly A/C and non-A/C boats run from the Gateway of India to Mandwa — PNP and Maldar (A/C catamarans) and Ajanta (ferry) — with a free bus to Alibag included in the ticket. About 2 hours from the Gateway to Alibag, then 30 minutes by rickshaw to the cottage.
